Hale Nohea is a private luxury Residential Home exclusively serving five residents. We sit atop Maunalani Heights with sweeping views of Diamond Head, Kahala, Palolo Valley, Downtown Honolulu, Koolau Mountain Range, Waianae Range, lush gardens, and the ocean. Each room in our facility provides peace, tranquility, and safety.

1st Level
On the first level is the resident and garage entry with stair and elevator access to all floors.

2nd Level
On the second level is the main entrance for guests and visitors. If unable to ascend staircase, guests and visitors may enter through the secured garage entry. The second floor is where the common areas are including a dining room, living room, library/ game room, office, and kitchen where the majority of daily activities take place.

Formal Dining Room
The Dining room is right off the main entrance of Hale Nohea and is considered our "gathering place." The dining room itself is 20 ˝ x 18 ˝ feet and can seat 12, but is typically set for 6. All residents will share meals and participate in a variety of activities in this room. The dining room has access to a brick patio on one side and a view of both fountain and garden on the other. Living Room
The Living Room provides comfort and entertainment. This room measures at 25 ˝ x 15 ˝ feet and is equipped with a brick fireplace, entertainment center with a 47' flat screen LCD television, iPod station, DVD, and surround sound. There is ample room for lounging on our full reclining sofas and chairs. Picturesque windows allow for viewing the Koolau Mountain range and backyard garden. Click here for 360° Virtual Tour

Library/ Game Room
This room is directly adjacent to the living room and richly adorned with mahogany paneling, brass fixtures, and furnished with a full wet bar, game table, built-in bookshelves, and sitting areas. Board games, cards, puzzles, and reading stations are activities that can be enjoyed in this room. The view, like the living room, overlooks the Koolau Mountain range and backyard garden. Office
The office is located on the second floor and is primarily used for management and interviews. This room is typically closed off to residents.

Kitchen
Hale Nohea is more than capable of preparing meals for large groups due to our spacious and well equipped kitchen, pantry, and laundry room. These areas measure 24 x 20 ˝ feet and is beautifully kept.

3rd Level
All bedrooms are located on the top level, are private and equipped with many features including but not limited to, a built in bookshelf, desk, drawers, walk-in closet, 32" flat screen television, intercom calling system, telephone, ceiling fan, lamps, full recliner chair, and a state of the art Volker hospital bed and versatile hospital side table. We label these rooms by colors listed below.

Blue (Room #1)
This room is located on the southwest side with flawless views of Downtown Honolulu, Diamond Head, and the ocean. The room itself is 20 x 15 feet with and additional walk-in closet 5 x 8 feet. This room is equipped with all the above listed amenities. Click here for 360° Virtual Tour

Blue (Room #2)
This room also located on the southwest side with a direct view of Diamond Head, Kahala, and the ocean. The room itself is 15 x 15 feet with an additional walk-in closet 8 x 8 feet. This room is equipped with all the above listed amenities. Click here for 360° Virtual Tour

Sand (Room #3)
This room is located on the cooler east side with lush garden and Koolau mountain views. The room itself is 18 x 15 feet with an additional walk-in closet of 6 ˝ x 6 ˝ feet. This room is equipped with all the above listed amenities. Click here for 360° Virtual Tour

Sand (Room #4)
This room is also located on the cooler east side with a lush garden view. This is our smallest room, but not lacking in amenities. The room itself is 12 x 13 ˝ feet. Green (Room #5)
This Master Suite is located on the north and west side with stunning views of the Koolau Mountains, Downtown Honolulu, Airport, Waianae Range, and the ocean. This huge suite measures 19 x 24 feet. There are two master dressing rooms with built-in dressers, vanity station, walk-in closets, spa room with tub and whirlpool, stand-up shower, and two toilets/sinks. This addition increases the total square footage to 44 x 24 feet (1056 sq. ft.). This room also has a 42" flat screen television, vaulted ceilings with two fans, two full reclining chairs, Volker bed with side table, intercom, telephone, and sitting area with tables and lamps. Nursing Station
This nursing station is centrally located between all bedrooms on the second level. It is adjacent to the elevator and gated stairway. When there are residents in their bedrooms, a Certified Nurses Aid will be at the station if assistance is needed. Click here for 360° Virtual Tour
