Hale Nohea is a 7,500 square foot single-family residence centrally located in East Oahu, Hawaii. The home sits atop Maunalani Heights where 300° sweeping views of Diamond Head, Kahala, Palolo Valley, Downtown Honolulu, Koolau Mountain Range, Waianae Range, lush gardens, and the ocean are present from picturesque windows. Each room has its own stunning view, its own ambience, and the warmth only a home can provide.

On the first level is the resident and garage entry with stair and elevator access to all floors. On the second level is the main entrance for guests and visitors. This is where the common areas are including a living room, dining room, game room/ library, office, and kitchen where the majority of daily activities take place. Live-in Certified Nurses Aids are also located on this level with their own entrance. Their living quarters are easily assessable, but separated by a sliding door from the main house.

All bedrooms are located on the third level. Our residents have the option of taking the stairs or elevator; however, a staff member always assists all residents when ascending or descending elevator or stairs. Safety gates are placed at stairway entrances to ensure the safety of the residents. During the day, residents are encouraged to remain together on the second level for meals, various activities, exercise, and rest time. In the evening after dinner, the residents are escorted to their private rooms where they are continually monitored throughout the evening and night. Our Certified Nurse Aids continually monitor the residents, and each room has its own intercom, telephone, and motion sensors to call staff when needed.

The bedroom suites are all large, private, and equipped with many amenities. These amenities include a state-of-the-art Volker bed imported from Germany, (click here for more information on our beds) 32-42" flat screen LCD televisions, custom drapery, walk-in closets, intercom system, telephone, ceiling fans, full reclining lounge chair, and built-in furniture including dressers, desks, and bookshelves. Each bathroom is connected with only one other room. Residents will have their own sink, mirror, and built-in bathroom storage. The exception to this is the master suite which has two private "his" and "hers" bathrooms, including two toilets, a shower, and spa room equipped with tub and whirlpool- perfect for an individual or couple wanting total privacy.

Hale Nohea also has ample areas to walk in our large, secure, patio, yard, and garden. Walking, croquet, Bacci Ball, and gardening are just a few scheduled outside activities residents are encouraged to enjoy.
